About UsThe Islip High School Business Department offers a wide variety of courses for students interested in exploring careers in business or marketing. The Department also offers career-exploration and computer skills coursework for all students. Students highly interested in a business profession should consider applying to take part in the Business Academy. Many of our Junior and Senior coursework is aligned to Farmingdale State University so that students may begin to earn transferable college credit while still in high school. This opportunity includes our simulated business course, Virtual Enterprise, where students must develop and run their own virtual business!
